Artayas The Awakening is a poignant book about a group of young adults navigating their way through traumatic events that happened in their pasts. Delaney, Nina, Tessa and Carter are going through emotions I felt I could relate back to my younger years. I felt involved in their stories, especially Delaney’s feelings of social and parental pressures. Artayas The Awakening is a fantasy coming-of-age novel. Artayas The Awakening is skilfully written, L.G. Menallo knows how to grab your attention and keep it until the very end. It is a first novel that reads like the work of an author who has published many books over many years. I cannot wait to see what comes next for this inspired author!
